Here is a link to Pastor, Rick Warren’s sayings site. Rick Warren wrote, The Purpose Driven Life. These sayings will help give more meaning to what you go through in life and why. Take a look. http://www.goodreads.com/author/quotes/711.Rick_Warren
We disrespect God when we disrespect the people who do the most for us.
We must die to our old self to be reborn in our new self.
Evil takes advantage of those who don’t think they are susceptible to it. Whatever has the advantage usually wins, unless those at a disadvantage know they are at a disadvantage.
The world will take away your strength. Only the LORD our God through His begotten divine Son, Jesus Christ, will give it back to you.
Do for others because you choose to; not because you expect something in return. If, in your heart, you are really doing things for this reason, you will always feel blessed.
Loneliness is a state of mind. Ask God to take it away and it shall be done. Ask others to take it away and you open yourself up to a world of vulnerability.
Suffering with full trust and no worry sets in motion the greatest blessings in the heart which ultimately translates into the world around you.
Braggers lift themselves up. Humble people lift up others. Choose wisely which type you ask for advice.
We must be right with God in order to be truly happy.
God suffered through blood, sweat, and tears in order to show us He how much He loves us. Why would it be surprising that it takes blood, sweat, and tears for us to show God how much we love Him in return?
If the motivation for your effort is to prove something to someone else, you are destined for failure. If the motivation for your effort is to show God how much you trust in Him, and Him alone, (regardless of past failures or hurts), success in in your future.
The world takes away our hope and inspiration. God is what fills us with the hope and inspiration to keep trying. Where do you receive your motivation?
Strongholds are what we choose to make them. We can choose to keep them or let them go. If we hold onto them, they weigh us down. If we let them go, they fly away so we can rise to new heights.
Seek perfection in the eyes of God, not the world. Only there will you achieve the happiness you seek.
Dress for success. Wear God as part of your wardrobe.
